REPORTS: Manchester United set sights on signing former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham next summer

Without much doubts, Manchester United football club will most definitely remain keen on signing a new centre-forward in the summer to further strengthen their current squad.

Do remember that the Old Trafford side have enjoyed a very interesting 2022/2023 football season and are currently occupying the third position on the Premier League table.

However, the Red Devils have been heavily reliant on goals from Marcus Rashford this season despite completing the signing of Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley.

Due to this, Manchester United football club are on the lookout for a new striker in the summer and have now been linked with a move for AS Roma centre-forward Tammy Abraham.

The 25-year-old England International, who signed up for AS Roma after departing Chelsea football club back in 2021 has been an important member of the first-team squad since he made the move.

The experienced centre-forward has been quite involved for AS Roma so far this 2022/2023 season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

His impressive performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Manchester United and according to reports from The Sun, the Red Devils want to sign him.

The reports further claimed that Manchester United are really interested in Tammy Abraham and have now added the experienced striker to their summer transfer list.

It is believed that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants to add more firepower to his attacking options and he has identified Tammy Abraham as a needed addition to his squad.

But then, it remains to be seen if Manchester United football club will be able to reach an agreement with AS Roma and secure the transfer of Tammy Abraham in the summer.
