The similarities in Kai Havertz's goal during the UCL Final and his goal against Malmo FF

Kai Havertz was on target during Chelsea's last outing against Malmo FF. The Blues hosted Sweden side Malmo in their third 2021/22 UCL game at Stamford Bridge. Andreas Christensen and Jorginho both got on the score sheet before Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz worked together to get the Blues their fourth goal on Wednesday evening.

Speaking to Chelsea website after the Blues' victory against their visitors, Kai Havertz take the Chelsea media team through his goal. He said: "It is always tough to come in but I try to do my best and it was a good goal. Callum did a good assist, the ball was very far but I could get to it and I knew that the goalkeeper would go down, so I think the only choice I had was to tip it over the Keeper."

For Chelsea Fans, Kai Havertz's goal against Malmo was like a deja Vu but, it was a good one. The German Youngster appeared to be recreating his goal against Manchester City during the UCL final with the way he scored against Malmo in the group stage clash.

Remember that Mason Mount found Kai Havertz with a long range and accurate pass during the Final of the Champions League. Ederson Morales charged at Kai Havertz but the German Star beat the Brazilian Goalkeeper to it before chipping it in.

It was also the same against Malmo. Kai Havertz received the ball only to be faced with Ismael Diawara but Kai Havertz decisiveness to put the ball above the Swedish Goalkeeper got him the goal.

However, these are just the obvious similarities in Kai Havertz's UCL final goal against Manchester City and his goal against Malmo FF. Other similarities that are easier to dismiss are the color of jersey that the Goalkeepers were wearing.

Both Ederson and Diawara were both wearing pink jerseys. Also, Ismael Diawara was wearing Jersey number 30 while Ederson donned jersey number 31 during the UCL final.
