REPORTS: Chelsea register interest in signing promising France striker in 2022

Chelsea football club were undoubtedly one of the few busy Premier League clubs during the summer transfer window before it was shut in September.

The West London club are hellbent on competing with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool for more trophies this season and have signed Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Bettinelli to bolster their squad.

Due to those additions, the Blues have started the 2021/2022 season on a strong note as they are currently in first position on the Premier League table after playing seven matches.

However, it seems Chelsea are not done with their transfer businesses just yet as they have been linked with a move for Angers starlet Mohamed-Ali Cho.

The 17-year-old France International, who joined Angers from Premier League side Everton in 2020 has now found his way into the Angers first-team at his young age.

Mohamed-Ali Cho was a key member of the Angers first-team squad last season, recording a total of 24 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.

The young forward has been quite influential for Angers this season as well, scoring two goals in his first nine appearances for the club so far.

Due to his impressive displays in front of goal, the young forward has attracted interest from several football clubs across Europe and according to reports from The Sun, Chelsea are also keeping tabs on him.

Chelsea are known for getting very good young players in order to train them towards being the best and are now keen on adding Mohamed-Ali Cho to their long list of young prospects.

That said, if Chelsea agrees a deal to sign Mohamed-Ali Cho, he is expected to be loaned out as he cannot get in straight into the first-team's attacking department which already consists of Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz.
