Besides, his father won it twice with West Ham.
Finally, his uncle, Harry Redknapp scooped the trophy with Portsmouth 12 years ago.
The Blues boss says he 'grew up on it' and will treat the Sunday clash as a huge game which will make him proud.
"It's been an extreme year where possibly on occasion individuals have addressed whether we would push to specific levels," Frank Lampard said in front of the FA Cup semi-final clash with Man United.
"We are currently at a level in the Cup where we are playing a group in phenomenal structure, and if we somehow happened to get past that we'd play another group in great structure, and that is the finish of where it goes for me as far as needing to win: what it implies for this club and the group.
"I was fortunate enough to win it as a player. I grew up on it and those wins of my Dad in ’75 and ’80, so I have a strong feeling about the FA Cup, and that has never changed for me as the years have gone by.
"Now I am manager every cup you’re in you want to do your best to win it, and it wouldn’t fall short on me the pride of being able to walk out the club I love at Wembley. Even for a semi-final, it’s a huge game against Manchester United, and I will be very proud on Sunday."
Frank Lampard's dad, Frank Lampard senior, won the cup with West Ham in 1975 and 1980. In addition, our manager's uncle, Harry Redknapp, is the last English manager to win the competition to date, having done as such with Portsmouth 12 years back.
