Manchester United's Offensive Options That Could Revive Their Title Hopes This Season

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's pattern of play has come under severe criticism by fans lately due to his inability to win matches convincingly this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has used a 4-2-3-1 system since taking over for Jose Mourinho in 2018. Because this formation allows the manager to deploy two defensive midfielders, the number of attackers must be reduced to accommodate them. Unfortunately, this offensive option of his seems not to be working perfectly well for the team, and as such, he needs to try other options.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should experiment with different formations, such as a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, because he has a team that can play in any formation. The ideal shape for Manchester United to resurrect their Premier League title hopes is 4-4-2.

This formaion will let the manager to utilize two strikers, increasing the team's chances of scoring more goals. Furthermore, it always relieves pressure on strikers.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a formidable offensive force that will allow him to start Ronaldo and Cavani together. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will still have guys like Mason Greenwood and Martial on the bench who can make a difference.

Also, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could use the 4-3-3 formation, and he would also be able to accommodate both Cristiano Ronaldo and Cavani together.

In conclusion, I strongly believe Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to use either of these two formations in order to revive Manchester United's title hopes this season.
