The international break is currently underway, with many players on the way back to their respective countries for the upcoming friendlies and qualifiers.
After playing the full 90 minutes in PSG's surprising 2-nil loss to Rennes, Messi was pictured some minutes ago arriving for international duty with the likes of Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes, both of whom he shares the dressing room with at club level.
However, Messi is trending now on social media because of the kind gesture he extended to two fans who asked for a selfie with him.
Messi was already on his way inside a van but one of the fans said "Leo, we're only two. A picture please". Source - Roy Nemer (Twitter).
A lot of players would have just waved at the fans in this type of situation, but despite his revered status as a player, Messi still found time to step out of the van, take pictures with them and even signed a shirt for the two lucky people. It takes humility to do kind things like this.
The 6-time Ballon d'Or winner is expected to feature for the Argentine national team in their FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Paraguay, Uruguay and Peru.
