Spanish LaLiga Champions, Real Madrid, will play their last league match on Sunday when they visit Leganes. Real Madrid won the League with one more match to spare when they beat Villarreal 2-1 in the LaLiga on Thursday evening.
Two goals from Karim Benzema was enough to hand Los Blancos the title for the first time since three years. Their full focus will now be on winning the UEFA Champions League for a record 11 times. It will be a great time for Zidane.
Real Madrid could make some changes to the squad that started the Villarreal match since they have already secured the LaLiga Santander title on Thursday.
Here is the possible Line-Up for Madrid against Leganes on Sunday, 20th July:
4-3-3
Courtois (Goalkeeper)
Mendy
Militao
Varane
Hernandez
Casemiro
Modric
Kroos
Vinicius
Benzema
Asensio
Courtois had to be on his toes to ensure a second goal did not go into the back of the net, as they won the LaLiga Santander title after defeating Villarreal. He will start in goal as he hopes to continue his recent wonderful form. However, he may not have much to worry about as they're Liga Champions.
Carvajal and Sergio Ramos returned to the starting line-up in the game against Villarreal but they could be rested this time around. This means that Hernandez and Militao will likely replace Daniel Carvajal and Captain, Sergio Ramos, at right back and center back.
Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Modric will likely retain their positions in the middle of the park. They controlled the game at midfield in the match against Villarreal.
Eden Hazard and Rodrygo came back to the starting line-up on Thursday night as they helped to get the required three points which certified them Champions. However, they could be replaced by Vinicius and Asensio in the front three.
Asensio and Vinicius are promising young players who could go on to become great footballers in the future.
