Liverpool however pulled one back on the 63rd minute after Ruben Dias fouled Mohammed Salah in the box, gifting Liverpool a penalty which the Egyptian coolly converted.
Manchester city really were on fire as they stole the 3 points convincingly. Raheem Sterling got on the scoresheet, 4 minutes after Iky Gundugan doubled their lead.
Fortunately for Pep Guardiola's side, they played with so much confidence, scored another goal through Phil Foden to the amazement and disdain of Liverpool, and won the convincingly.
The match ended 1-4 in favor of Man City.
