On Wednesday, Chelsea hosted Atlético Madrid at Stamford bridge. Chelsea who were 1-0 up in the first leg was very confident of qualifying as they've been in good form for a while now, under their new Coach Tuchel.
Chelsea played a nice game against Atlético Madrid, and fortunately for the Blues they won in both legs as they scored 2 goals past Atlético Madrid without reply. Hackim Ziyech and Emerson scored the vital goal for Chelsea, as they won 3-0 on aggregate.

Atlético Madrid are the League Leaders of the Spanish competition, Laliga. With four points clear second position, FC Barcelona.
Atlético Madrid were knocked out by Chelsea in the Champions League competition after Diego Simeone side has failed to win any of the legs.
Now that Atlético Madrid are out of the league, their Coach Diego Simeone will put his full focus in the league and this could stop Barcelona from winning the Laliga title as they have been pressurizing Atlético Madrid since the beginning of the year.
Barcelona, who still have tough matches ahead could stop them from pressurizing Atlético Madrid, has they will be facing Real Madrid soon and some other teams in the league.
Atlético Madrid could take this as an advantage to create a lot of gap on the league table while Barcelona battles with the big teams in the league.
