Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals future managerial plans & discusses potential return to Man Utd

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted at the possibility of making a comeback to Manchester United "in some capacity" in the future.

Having been relieved of his managerial duties in November 2021, Solskjaer made his return to Old Trafford on Saturday to witness the Red Devils secure a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The beloved former striker was warmly welcomed by the fans, who chanted his name multiple times from the Stretford End during the match.

During his visit to Manchester, Solskjaer hosted a Q&A session in the city center on Friday evening, where he engaged in discussions about various topics, including the club's ownership situation. As part of the event, the 50-year-old was posed with questions about his future plans and whether he envisions a return to managerial roles.

“I have got another job in me if it’s the appropriate opportunity & exciting enough,” the former boss said, according to The Athletic. “There are several teams, but I am not going to work just for the sake of working. It has to be special, a new culture, or a club that really excites me. Or probably they'll want me back at Manchester United in some capacity, who knows?”
