EPL Top Teams That Could Go Unbeaten This Year

Top Premier League Clubs that include Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United have started their 2021/20 season with an outstanding performance. These three teams are yet to lose a match so far and have won 4 out of their 5 matches with 1 draw. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United sit on the Premier League top of the table with 13 points each.

Manchester City had its unbeaten run that lasted between April 8, 2017, to January 2, 2018. City had a perfect start to that season without losing a match until January the following year. Their 30 matches unbeaten run came to an end when Liverpool defeated them 4-3 at Anfield. The only team who have gone unbeaten all through a whole season is Arsenal. Arsene Wenger guided Arsenal's invincible in the 2003/04 season without conceding a defeat both at home and away. The Gunners were crowned EPL champions on the 25th of April, 2004.

The three teams that could go unbeaten between now and the end of December.

1. Chelsea.

Chelsea is having a good start to the season under Thomas Tuchel. The UCL winners could be having an unbeaten run all through the year just as they did under Jose Mourinho in the 2004/05 season. The Blues' had 40 games unbeaten run between October 16, 2004 - November 6, 2005. Chelsea who has the best number of defense and great squad depth can lengthen their unbeaten run till the end of December or beyond.

2. Liverpool.

Liverpool is also one of the biggest EPL title contenders this season. The Reds have only dropped points against Chelsea so far, winning 4 out of 5 EPL matches. Jurgen Klopp's men have only conceded a goal in the EPL which was the goal against Chelsea. Liverpool looks strong enough to go unbeaten all through the year.

3. Manchester United.

Manchester United could be enjoying their best moment under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after having their club legend Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club. The Red Devils look undefeatable in the EPL this season as the manager hopes to put an end to the title drought of 8 years.
