ARS vs AFC: Match Prediction, Preview & Kickoff Time

After a shaky start, Arsenal are starting to find their feet, and they'll be expected to win easily against League One side Wimbledon in the third round of the League Cup. The Gunners have won two games in a row and three of their past four.

The last two victories, though, have been arduous, and they will be hoping for a comfortable outing here ahead of the North London Derby. They've improved a lot defensively, and Aaron Ramsdale has played a significant part in that, keeping three clean sheets in three games.

They hammered West Bromwich Albion 6-0 in the previous round of this competition and will be relieved to be back at home, with the win over Norwich being their third in four games at the Emirates. Arsenal have only failed to score in three of their last ten League Cup outings.

Wimbledon, however, are coming off a 1-0 home loss to Plymouth Argyle and are in for a stiffer test at the Emirates, albeit their recent form is encouraging. Their most recent loss came after an 11-match winning streak, and they have six wins this season.

Wimbledon has scored two or more goals in four of their previous five games, with four of those games resulting in over 2.5 goals.

In four of their last five games, both teams have scored, while Wimbledon has scored in five of their last six away from home. They have kept clean sheets in the first two rounds of the League Cup, winning two games in a row by a score of 1-0.

Arsenal are getting ready for the North London derby, and they'll want to win this one first. This appears to be a simple game that they should win. They don't have any European commitments, and Mikel Arteta is under pressure to keep winning, so he'll be bringing an excellent team here. Based on their current form, I expect Arsenal to win this match convincingly. The match will be played tomorrow at 7:45 PM Nigerian and UK time.
