Former Nigerian international Odion Ighalo left Manchester United after his contract expired at the club.
The big striker took to his instagram account to pen a farewell message to Manchester United players and fans.
Ighalo made a surprise move on the final day of the 2020 January transfer window. He was signed on a temporary basis to solve United's striking problem during that time because of a long term injury to Macus Rashford.
However, his contract was extended till January 2021 after some impressive showings which yielded three goals in four starts.
He also made his UEFA Champions League debut at Manchester United when he came on as a late substitute in the 3-1 loss to Paris saint-Germain in the group stage match.
The striker will now return to China to continue with his parent club, Shanghai Shenhua.
Below are some comments and reactions from players and fans on the Instagram post.
