Barcelona are interested in Boubacar Kamara. The 21-year-old French man is been touted by the club as a possible long-term replacement for their 33-year-old captain Sergio Busquets in the defensive midfield position.
Boubacar Kamara is an exciting talent who came through the Olympique Marseille academy. He started his career as a defender before transforming into a defensive midfielder. The 21-year-old is held in high regard in France and his eye-catching performance has caught the attention of big clubs in Europe. Kamara has made 128 appearances for Marseille.
Boubacar Kamara's current contract at Marseille expires next year and this makes the move easier for Barcelona. They will be able to speak with him in January 2022 with the hope of signing him In the summer of 2022 for free. This would also serve as a cheaper alternative for the club.
Boubacar Kamara will be an inspired addition to the Barcelona team and his youthful talent would be a great asset to the team.
Barcelona will still have to fight off stiff competition from other top European club to secure the services of Kamara. Italian Giants Juventus are rumored to be interested in signing the France Under 21 international.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona will sign Marseille's Boubacar Kamara in 2022.
