Pastor WF kumuyi the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church spoke to members on the need to inform their ministers about certain things that is happening in their life. He claimed that one of the ways to build and begin a perfect relationship and fellowship with one's minister is by giving him proper information. The ministers of God we are kept for us to serve us and also for us to serve them so in order for us to do so we have to make them daily informed about both the good and bad things that happen to us. When good things happen they praise God on our behalf, when bad things happen the pray to God on our behalf.
However the man of God told his workers that the church leaders should get proper information. Information should be flowing up and down in the church. If your child is getting married, the first thing you need to do is to inform your pastors who is over you. Perhaps something is happening in your family, whether good or bad, you need to inform them. If you are travelling to your village or you are travelling overseas, you need to inform them. Are there any problems in the church that you noticed? , do not hide it but inform your leaders.
He emphasized on the issue of marriage and claim that the first thing that should be done when a child is preparing for marriage is for a proper information to be given to the minister and leaders. They could help in many ways before or after the wedding.
In conclusion, we should not hide such good news from our minister of God. we should cherish them and learn how to give them positive information at all times. It makes them happy and increases their commitment.
