Segun Odegbami does not think Gernot Rohr is the right man for the Super Eagles.
In his four year stint so far as Super Eagles of Nigeria Manager, the Franco-German has failed to inspire a crop of young lads at the FIFA World Cup and African Cup of Nations respectively.
Persistent speculation over Rohr's future and his relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation was a subject matter but both parties decided to continue for another two years.
Ex Super Eagles fans' favourite "The Mathematical" Odegbami is unimpressed with the former Niger Republic and Gabon boss.
"I have expressed my opinion about Gernot Rohr on several occasions," Odegbami said via FCT Football Update.
"What are his credentials? Where is he coming from?
"My belief is that anyone who will coach the Super Eagles must be a world class coach. Gernot Rohr can't deliver that. He is not a world class coach that we are looking for without question."
"We have seen him work for four years and what we saw are two critical moments; in Russia and Egypt.
"What he has done convinces me that he is not the one to lead Nigeria to El dorado," the former Shooting Stars winger added.
