According to report from Brazilian news outlet, Terra, the price agreed between Inter and Flamengo over the permanent transfer of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa is €16 million.

The two clubs have been in talks for some time and Flamengo’s vice-president Marcos Braz recently refuted media claims that a deal in excess of €22 million had been agreed by stating the fee was lower than that.
Flamengo are prepared to give the 23-year-old striker a three year contract and will meet with his representatives and the player himself following the conclucsion of the Club World Cup in Qatar, where Flamengo are due to play in the final against Liverpool tomorrow evening.
Gabigol has been on loan with the Rio de Janeiro based club since January and has been in stellar form having scored no less than 43 goals in 58 appearances across all competitions, which include a brace in the Copa Libertadores final, which took place last month.
