Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins also known as Weapon of Mass Destruction or Obagoal is a Nigerian footballer, role model and father. He was born on October 28, 1984 in Lagos state, Nigeria. Obagoal is also an entrepreneur, humanitarian and philanthropist.
Obagoal started his football career in the year, 1999 and he has received a lot of awards. He has carved a niche for himself in the football industry and he can be regarded as one of the most influential strikers in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
His former clubs are Reggiana, Inter Milan, Newcastle United, VfL Wolfsburg, Rubin Kazan, Levante, Birmingham City and Seattle Sounders. The striker is currently in his second stint with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.
Martins made his debut for Nigeria in 2004 at the age of 19 in the 2004 Unity Cup scoring the second goal, in the tri-nations Unity Cup tournament in London. He has scored 18 goals in 42 senior appearances for Nigeria.
Obafemi Martins is currently in a relationship with Italian-Ghanaian, Abigail Barwuah who is the mother of some of his children.
Talking about Martins' first son, he is simply identified as Kevin Maussi Martins. He is 15 years old. His mother's identity is unknown. The lad loves football and he appears to be following in the footsteps of his father.
The lad has played for the youth team of AC Milan. He is currently on the books of Inter Milan. Kevin Maussi is a carbon copy of his father, Obafemi Martins. They have too much resemblance.
