According to Real Madrid, Following the tests carried out today on Mendy by the club's medical department, he has been diagnosed with an overload to the soleus muscle in his left leg. The full back's recovery will be closely monitored.
However, the France international is a doubt for the first leg of the champions league semi final against Chelsea.
The left back will be joining the likes of Eden Hazard, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Lucas Vazquez and many others in the treatment room.
