Why Ten Hag Should Stop Using Antony Ahead Of Pellistri In Man Utd's Lineup

Manchester United appointed Dutch and former Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag during the summer to permanently replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was sacked by the Red Devils hierarchies after his poor start to last season. Although the Norwegian boss was replaced by Carrick and Rangnick in a temporary role, Ten Hag later took over permanently.

Following his arrival, the Dutchman brought two of his former teammates, Lisandro Martinez and Antony, while Malacia joined from his opposition team in the Eredivisie. Since the arrival of these three players, they have been brilliant and earned themselves a starting role most of the time I'm on Ten Hag's team.

Why he should be a bench for Pellistri.

Malacia and Lisandro have been fantastic but Antony has constantly been criticized for his style of play. The Brazilian has been judged for showboating and also being selfish while playing. A clear example of this claim came to light against Real Betis when he wasted a goal opportunity by chipping the ball instead of passing to his teammates.

Secondly, Pellistri has shown the fans as well as the boss that he's capable of making something happen. He was introduced just 9 minutes before the final whistle, but the Uruguayan utilized his lightning pace and bravely to create a goal opportunity for Weghorst as the Dutchman grabbed his first Old Trafford goal.
