Ryan Friedkin who is the Vice President of the club said that the Giallorossi are "thrilled" to announce the arrival of the Former Tottenham Coach.

"The club are delighted to announce that they have reached an agreement with Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season", the club said in an official statement.

The Club President "Dan Friedkin" also stated that he was thrilled and delighted to welcome Jose Mourinho to the AS Roma Family.
