Now That Mourinho Has Been Sacked, Is It A Blessing Or Otherwise for Tottenham?

The veracity of the news that Mourinho has been sacked by Tottenham is not a doubt anymore. The Tottenham's coach has been sacked this morning as their hope to secure a place in the Champions League spots is becoming a mere dream.

The Special One who replaced Mauricio Pochettino in November 2019, has his contract terminated prematurely on Monday morning.

Not only Mourinho was sacked but his backroom team which comprised Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cereal have also been fired too. It's reported that Ryan Mason will take the first-team training tentatively.

In the club's chairman words, he said: " Jose and his coaching staff have been with us through some of our most challenging times as the club. Jose is a true professional who showed enormous resilience during the pandemic."

Levy was also quoted to have said that he enjoyed working with Mourinho and he's filled with regret that things did not work out as they had hoped. In his final note, he thanked the manager and his coaching staff for their contribution to the team's growth, and added that they will always be welcomed anytime at the club.

However, with the club preparing for the cup game with Manchester City on Sunday, do you think it's right to sack the coach ahead of the EFL cup final.

The timing of this premature sack seems to bear many questions. Is this the right time for the Portuguese to be relieved of his duty? Leave your opinions on the comment box.
