Chelsea May Have Found Lukaku And Werner's Replacement

Chelsea’s search for Lukaku and Werner's replacement may have been solved already by Thomas Tuchel.

Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku were among the starting line up against Malmo as Chelsea record a wonderful performance against the team from Sweden.

Despite winning the game emphatically, Chelsea victory was dampen with the injuries to both star players, Lukaku and Werner in the first half of the game.

Not that the injuries affected Chelsea's performance against Malmo, as the blues went on to score two more beautiful goals, but Werner and Lukaku up on till that point, were incredible as they were both a constant threat to the Malmo defense.

The duo were replaced by Kai Havertz and Callum Hodson Odoi with the former scoring the 3rd goal of the night for Chelsea.

With the need to reshuffle the team, Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel may have found 2 players who may serve as replacement for Lukaku and Werner respectively.

Both replacement were on an incredible form last night as they combined superbly to produce Chelsea's 3rd goal of the night.

The connection between both players has resound perfectly with the intention of the Chelsea manager, which is for every player to play as if they have a point to prove and with such performance they could easily fill the vacuum left by the injured Lukaku and Werner.

While the injury may be a bad news for Lukaku and Werner, it provides Kai havertz and Callum Hodson Odoi the chance to get the much needed game time and to show how hungry they are to be among the contenders for the match day starting lineup every week.

Both Lukaku and Werner has now joined the Chelsea injury list, a list which consist of Christian Pulisic. Although how long the duo will be sidelined is yet to be confirmed.

Chelsea next game is at home against Norwich at Stamford by 12:30 GMT.

Can Havertz and Hudson Odoi really fill the vacuum created by Lukaku and Werner? Let's hear your say at the comment section below.
