Boca Juniors are readying a bid for Arsenal outcast Lucas Torreira this summer, believing they can tempt the midfielder to Buenos Aires as he is a fan of the club.
The 25-year-old is on loan at Atletico Madrid this season after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta. The move has not really worked out for him and he has made just three La Liga starts for Diego Simeone’s side and none in the Champions League.
It is unlikely that Atletico will want to extend his stay in the Spanish capital and the Gunners are also unlikely to want him back in north London, leaving an exit the most probably outcome.
