Arsenal surprised football fans yesterday as they beat Liverpool, 2-1. The Gunners came from behind to beat Klopp's men by scoring 2 goals in the first half and defended well in the second half to make sure they went home with the 3 points.
For some time, Liverpool haven't been playing well. Since the lockdown, the reds haven't really been special as they have dropped lots of points. The defeat to Arsenal shows that the players have had their full and there is no motivation to play on.
If Arsenal can beat Liverpool, then Chelsea can do the same at Stamford bridge. If a team that knows they can't qualify for any European tournament can summon the fighting spirit to beat Liverpool, then the blues will do the same to qualify for champions league.
Chelsea's next game will be against Liverpool at Anfield and if Chelsea can win, then they have made the top 4. Chelsea will capitalize on the crises in Liverpool and strike them hard. It won't be a new thing for the blues, after all, they won Liverpool 2-0 the last time they played.
Arsenal's victory against Liverpool has given Chelsea the motivation they need to beat Liverpool.
