Days ago, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand made a controversial claim, stating that Bruno Fernandes would have earned himself a statue at the Emirates with the numbers he has done if he was at Arsenal.

Perhaps, Ferdinand forgot there's a certain Martin Odegaard who's leading Arsenal's Premier League title chase this season. To find out whether Ferdinand was right or wrong, let's compare the league stats of these players so far this term.

In 33 matches played for Man United, Fernandes have been directly involved in 13 goals (7 assists, 6 goals) while Odegaard have recorded 15 goals and 7 assists in 34 EPL games.

Yesterday, Odegaard was the catalyst behind Arsenal's 2-nil victory over Newcastle while Fernandes couldn't prevent his side from losing for the second consecutive time.
So basically, if Fernandes deserves a statue built in his name if he moves to Arsenal, then the Emirates Stadium should be renamed to Odegaard's name putting into consideration all the things he's done for the club.
