Ighalo, Sanusi and other Nigerians that will feature in the Champions League this season.

The 2020/21 champions league group stage begins today across Europe with some exciting encounters, the number one UEFA club competition remains a dream of every player to feature in. Here are Nigerian players who will be turning out with there respective teams in this season's competition.

Odion Ighalo

The Nigerian and his Manchester United teammates travel away to face Paris Saint-Germain this evening. Ighalo will be hoping for some minutes to help the Red Devil's get pass the group stage.

Zaidu Sanusi

The new Super Eagles left back sensation will turn out for Portuguese side FC Porto as they compete against Manchester City, Olympiacos and Marseille in group C. Porto face a tough task in Man City at the Ethihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Dennis Bonaventure and David Okereke

The Nigerian duo will be key as Club Brugge looks to fancy there chances in group F, the Belgian champions faces Zenit St. Petersburg, Dortmund and Lazio.

Azubuike Okechukwu

Istanbul Basaksehir emerged winner of the Turkish Super League last season. Former Nigerian U23 captain Azubuike Okechukwu who was on loan last season has been signed permanently and also included in the Champions League squad for this season.

Frank Onyeka

The midfielder scored one of the goals to help Midtjylland go pass Slavia Praha in the play-off tie. The 22 year old who made his Super Eagles debut against Algeria during the recent International break will line up for the Danish side against Seria A side Atalanta tommorow.
