John Michael Nchekwube Obinna, popularly known as Mikel Obi is a professional footballer and a native of Anambra state in Nigeria.
He was however, born in Plateau state on 22nd of April, 1987 and he is currently 34-year-old.
Mikel Obi kicked off his official football career at the age of 12, when he was picked as a talented footballer from over 3,000 young talents to play in Pepsi Football Academy.
The Pepsi Football Academy was at that time, recognized as a team that goes around the country to search for the best there is from all the upcoming future stars, to later move on to professional football. Mikel was among the young talents they picked then.
The veteran Nigerian mildfielder has currently moved to Kuwait as he gradually winds down on his successful career.
Mikel Obi, who played most of his time at Chelsea, joined Kuwait Sporting Club on a one year deal.
Mikel has now played in 5 countries in his club career with his latest transfer to Kuwait Sporting Club. He started in Norway, from where he moved to England to play for the London Blues, where he enjoyed much success.
He however, left Chelsea in 2017 to play for a Chinese club but returned to England in 2019. A stint in Turkey came before he returned to England again in 2020.
The beautiful girls are currently living with their parents.
