Manchester City went ahead to host the French Giants Paris Saint German in the Champions League Semi final second leg, after defeating the French side 2-1 in the first leg at Larc De Princes in Paris.
Riyad Mahrez without Mercy doubled the lead for his side few minutes into the second half.
The match ended 2-0 with both goals scored by Riyad Mahrez to make the semi Final aggregate 4-1.
In his post match interview with BT sports, Mahrez said;
"It was a very good game. We didn't start well again - we didn't have a good old first half but we got the goal and we were more comfortable. We played well second half and we could have scored more. After the red card it was more comfortable."
"It wasn't the game plan to counterattack, but they have to come at us and maybe at time we were a bit deeper and we are good on the counter. That's how the two goals came about and we are happy. Of course Ederson's long pass (For the first goal) was planned. We know he is capable of putting the ball in the other goal we practice it all the time and today it worked."
