PSG has been eliminated in the Champions League at the Round of 16 stages for the second year in a row. The French Giant was eliminated by Bayern Munich last night. Goals from their former player, Chupo-moting and Gnabry crushed their UCL hopes once again.
Lionel Messi will have to wait once again for Champions League glory with PSG. The World Cup winner has not always been lucky against Bayern Munich. Just like their recent meeting, Messi was shut down by the Bayern players. He was unable to contribute anything meaningful to the PSG attacks.
Speaking after the game, Bayern Captain, Thomas Muller revealed that Ronaldo was their major problem at the club level. They always found a way to keep Messi silent.
“Against Messi, things always go well at all levels in terms of results. At the club level, Cristiano Ronaldo was our problem when he was at Real Madrid”
