UEFA has Suspended Popular African Goalkeeper from all Football activities for 12 months.

One of the Popular Goalkeeper in football who ply his trade with Dutch giants Ajax Football Club has been banned for all Football activities for 12 months.

The disciplinary committee of the European Football Association, UEFA, has imposed a compulsory suspension on the Cameroonian International Goalkeeper Andre Onana for Violating doping test. He was found guilty as the results of the drug test in October came out Positive.

Onana who was linked with both Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund recently has been banned with Ajax Football Club claiming that their number one Goalkeeper mistakenly took a prescribed drug by his wife. UEFA obtained a substance of furosemide in his urine following the test last year October while Ajax Sporting Director, Edwin Van Der Sar confirms they will definitely appeal. It is a bad week for Ajax who recently confirmed that record signing Sabastian Haller was mistakenly left out of the Europa League squad, now their number Goalkeeper is out till February 2022 for both Ajax and Cameroon National team.

The doping suspension is effective from February 5th 2021 to February 4th 2022.
