The EPL Clubs Ronaldo Never Faced In His 1st Man Utd Spell That He Will Now Play Against This Season

Since making his comeback to Manchester United last summer, Cristiano Ronaldo has been sensational in trying to pick up where he left off in his first spell. He has so far scored five goals for the Red Devils in all competitions and two of those were very crucial. However, during his first 6 years stint (2003-09) at Old Trafford, the Portugese International came up against plenty of teams in the top flight, many of whom were at the receiving end of his 84 Premier league goals. But they were a number teams he never faced then and seeing that he is back again, he will now have the opportunity to play against some new Premier league clubs this season.

See below;

1- Brentford

The Bees are Premier league debutants and this means they have never played in the top flight since the new league was formed in 1992. By December 14, the Red Devils will travel to the Brentford Community Stadium where Ronaldo will now have the chance to play against the Bees for the very first time in the Premier league.

2- Brighton And Hove Albion

Four days after United play Brentford, they will welcome Brighton at Old Trafford in what will be the 9th meeting between the two sides in the top flight. While the Red Devils will be playing the Seagulls for the ninth time, their legendary number 7 will be making his first appearance against the club.

3- Burnley

The Clarets obtained their first promotion to the Premier league in 2009, the exact season Ronaldo left for Real Madrid. Burnley and Manchester United will meet each other on December 28 and as long the Portugese stays fit, he will be up against the Clarets.

Other than the aforementioned teams, there's no other club in the current Premier league season that the Portugese International didn't previously face in his first spell. With strikes against Newcastle and West Ham United, the 36 year old has now scored 87 Premier league goals for Manchester United, 123 in all competitions. He is currently 130 strikes behind Wayne Rooney in top spot, a record he will be hoping to break before his time on the pitch is up.
