Check out what this Barcelona midfielder said about the rumours surrounding his future at the club

Marlem pjanic signed for Barcelona last summer from Juventus since he has failed to establish any reasonable claim to the starting eleven under Ronald Koeman, so many reports have been linking him with a move away from the camp nou next season. While on international duty, in an interview the Bosnian cleared the air regarding his future. Below is the midfielder full statement from his press conference

Miralem Pjanić: "Idea to stay at Barça? Yes, of course, I didn't sign for Barça to leave the following year, I signed to make history at a club that had been on my path for several years.

Pjanić: "I never give up. If I don't play, the next morning I'm training harder than ever so that the technicians notice I'm not giving up."

Pjanić: "Relationship with Messi? Spectacular. Leo talks to me a lot, he explains things about the environment that at first escaped me. He has been watching me from the first moment, encouraging me, helping me."

Pjanić: "Which players impressed me most? Pedri has special intelligence, he's a football player who will get very far. Ous (Dembélé) has incredible pace and dribbling, he's very good... But if we start reviewing the names, honestly everyone here is very good."

Pjanić: "I want to play at a full Camp Nou. It would mean that we will have returned to normality, that people can enjoy again."

Pjanić: "What do I ask from Koeman? Continuity, two or three games to be able to show my football. That's what any player needs. But I will continue working every training to earn that opportunity."

Pjanić: "The coach is betting a lot on the young players of La Masia, which is very good for the club because it means maintaining a style, I can contribute my experience in important games."

Pjanić: "Yes, it's true. I should shoot more from outside the area..."
