The England referee Anthony Taylor will be officiating the Chelsea match against Brentford on Saturday. The ref has been seen to dislike Chelsea FC as Chelsea has recorded a good number of red cards and yellow cards, having 17 more bookings than any other club under the referee.
Chelsea has the lowest win rate under Anthony Taylor, winning just 18 games out of the 38 games with Taylor in charge.
Earlier this season in the match against Liverpool, Chelsea had a good lead in the match but found themselves struggling in the second half due to Reece James' red card and penalty against Chelsea. Upon that, Chelsea was able to hold off Liverpool in a 1-1 draw.
Chelsea fans dropped a petition to ban Anthony Taylor from refereeing Chelsea matches after the match against Liverpool, in which most Chelsea players were in support.
Being a new team in the Premier League trying to prove themselves to the big clubs and with the help of Anthony Taylor, Brentford might be able to beat Chelsea at home on the Saturday match. Also, the majority of Chelsea star players like Kante, Lukaku, Reece might not feature in the match and others might be suffering from fatigue due to the just-concluded international matches played over the weekdays.
