However, with just two months since his return, the 36 year old Portuguese has won his first award as he was awarded the English Premier League Player of the month for September.
The 36 year old scored on his second debut for Manchester United and since his return, he has netted 3 goals for the Red Devils in the Premier League and also has 2 goals in the UEFA Champions League.
The player has since stated he returned to Manchester United to win trophies and has since been working hard to fulfill his promises to Manchester United fans.
The player is currently on international duty for his country as they prepare for their World Cup qualifier.
