Azubuike Okechukwu and his teammates sealed the the league with a 1 - 0 win over Kayserispor on Sunday.
It was the last game of the season and Istanbul Basaksehir made sure the got the job done, irrespective of the results between the second placed Trabzonspor and Konyaspor.
Mahmut Tekdemir netted the winner in the 19th minute for Basaksehir and Edin Vusca misses glorious opportunity to double their lead from the penalty spot.
Meanwhile their title chasing rivals Trabzonspor suffered a 3 - 4 defeat at home to Konyaspor to end their hope of winning the title.
Azubuike Okechukwu was delighted with results and he joined his teammates and mentor, Robinho to celebrate the amazing feat.

Azubuike Okechukwu who is the former Nigeria U-23 captain player 17 league games for the team this season.
He formerly played for Egyptian side Pyramid before joining Caykur Rizespor from where he moved to Istanbul Basaksehir on loan.
Azubuike has three caps for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, but yet to feature under present coach Gernot Rohr.
