Chelsea are still bent on bringing their main target to Stamford Bridge next season, as they aren't slowing down in gathering reinforcement to be able to compete flawlessly.
Recently, Chelsea's main target reported chose to join the Blues family, as he was claimed to be interested in Frank Lampard's project. And, the good news is here again as Chelsea is about to announce the player's move to Stamford Bridge.
According to David Ornstein, he stated that Chelsea are really closing in on the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, as deal would be announced very soon. David Ornstein, indicated it will most probably be about €80 million after add-ons and Chelsea would prefer it takes the form of €65 million plus €15 million.
In addition, Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Kai Havertz, and the German international wants to move to Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, Chelsea's qualification for Champions League is not a factor in his decision. And, Kai Havertz's salary does not pose a problem for the Blues and only the finer details need to be ironed out by Chelsea.
Kai Havertz wants to join the Blues family, mainly because of the project they are embarking upon, the vision they have for his role, a promising young squad and Lampard’s presence were elements that appealed to the 21-year-old.
In a simpler term, Kai Havertz's salary and transfer fee has been agreed, and the Bayer Leverkusen's promising baller would be announced soon as a Chelsea's player.
