Barcelona will return to action on Sunday. The El Clasico is here again. Ronald Koeman is yet to defeat Real Madrid since he joined Barca as a coach. The last time Barca defeated Real Madrid was back in 2019. In fact Toni Kroos on Thursday said he is confident Real Madrid will win again on Sunday.
Barcelona has improved in their last two games but Real Madrid as well are in top form. Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he will use the 4-3-3 formations which means he wants to play attacking football. Here is a way Koeman can lineup to defeat Real Madrid.
Koeman has used the 4-3-3 formations in the last two games and it has favored him. However, in my opinion, he used the 3-5-2 formation. With the form of Benzema and Vinicius, using two center backs might not work.
Koeman should use the 3-5-2 formation. Fati and Depay should play in attack while Garcia should replace Lenglet in the line up.
