Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid last night at the Stefano stadium in Spain, giving them the advantage heading into the second leg.
Christian Pulisic's 14 minute goal gave the blues the lead, after Timo Werner squandered a fine chance in the opening stages of the game, but Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema scored in the 29th minute to give the Los Blancos the lifeline before the break. The game eventually ended in a 1-1 draw in much favor of Chelsea, as they will be heading into the second leg next week with an away goal in the bag.
After last night's game, this is who I think is Chelsea best player so far that have been helping them. The player I feel is Chelsea best player is no other person but Midfielder Jorginho.
Jorginho captained Chelsea in the last 20 minutes of the game when Ceaser Azpilicueta was substituted, and he played a vital role for the blues last night as well.
Jorginho alongside Kante bossed the midfield in last night 1-1 draw at the Stefano stadium as his passes and interceptions helped the blues alot.
Jorginho is playing in place of Injured Matteo Kovacic, and he has really covered well for the Croatian. Many people might not see the worth of the former Napoli Midfieder, but I think Jorginho is Chelsea best player so far, or what do you think about this?
