The Blues strengthened their grip on a place in the English Premier League’s top 4 with a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Ham.
Thomas Tuchel’s side had to work hard to beat West Ham that had not lost at the London Stadium since the end of January and although they deserved the 3 points on the balance of play.
The victory means the Blues stay 4th, but move 3 points clear of 5th-placed Hammers. They're now 4 points clear of Reigning Champions, Liverpool, 5 clear of Tottenham and 6 ahead of Carlo Ancelotti, Everton
After a cagey first period, which David Moyes side just about edged, the Blues opened the scoring before the Interval. Ex-Leipzig forward Timo Werner started the attack, holding off the challenge of West Ham defender, Angelo Ogbonna before given the ball to Christian Pulisic. The USA International released it to Ben Chilwell, who found Timo Werner just outside the 6-yard area. The Germany international made no mistake to slot it past Fabiański for his 1st goal since February.
