Chelsea continued their unbeaten run under the management of the Thomas Tuchel as they comfortably defeated Everton 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge tonight.
Ben Godfrey's own goal was the difference in the first 45 minutes action of the fixture as the England International unfortunately sent the ball into the back of his own net from a weak attempt from Kai Havertz, to give the Blues a 1-0 lead at half time.
Jorginho doubled the Blues lead in the second half of the fixture as he scored from the penalty spot in the 65th minute to make it 2-0.
Chelsea eventually claimed the 2-0 win at full time as they bagged all three points at home.
Chelsea have now strengthened their position at the 4th spot on the league table with 50 points while Everton remains at the 5th spot on the table with 46 points.
