The Blues have loaned out Davide Zappacosta once again as he joins Genoa in the Italian Serie A.

The Italy international joined AS Roma on loan last season and has now been shipped out on loan once again on his return.

The Blues confirmed Zappacosta's loan move on their website releasing an official statement on Saturday morning.
"Davide Zappacosta is returning to Italy on loan. He will play for Genoa in the 2020/21 season," the club confirmed.

"The 28-year-old right-back, who joined Chelsea in 2017, has most recently played on loan at Roma. Unfortunately soon after joining the Serie A side last season he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his knee."
