Manchester United Boss Names 22 Men Travelling Squad For Champions League Opener Against Young Boys

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will take a 22-man squad to Switzerland for their first Champions League match against Young Boys.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored two goals on Saturday, is in the group for his first Champions League journey with the Reds since appearing in the 2009 final, which was his final match for United during his first stay with the club.

Anthony Elanga, a young striker, is also in the group, as is Matej Kovar, a goalkeeper who was summoned into the senior Czech Republic squad during the last international break.

Unfortunately, Edinson Cavani is still out after suffering a slight injury in the build-up to the 4-1 triumph over Newcastle United at Carrington.

Manchester United traveling squad are listed below:

David De Gea, Heaton, and Kovar are the goalkeepers.

Bailly, Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, Wan-Bissaka, are the Defenders.

The midfielders are; Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Pogba, Sancho, and van de Beek.

Elanga, Greenwood, Martial,and Cristiano Ronaldo are the strikers.
