Leicester City suffered a 2-1 defeat against Brighton on Sunday. The Seagulls had gone 2-0 up thanks to Neal Maupay’s contentious penalty and Danny Welbeck’s header before Jamie Vardy reduced the deficit In the second half.
Kelechi Iheanacho started the game on the bench and was introduced in the 75th minute, but the Nigerian international had little time to influence the game.
Iheanacho provided an assist on Thursday in the Foxes' 2-2 draw against Napoli, and they looked so much better with him on the pitch.
Last season, Iheanacho was Leicester's hero as he scored 18 goals in all competitions. This season, Iheanacho continued from where he left off last season, scoring the winning goal against Manchester City in the FA Cup Community Shield.
Despite his heroics, the Nigerian international is yet to start a Premier League game and some European journalists believe the Foxes are missing his presence in the team.
In my opinion, I think Rodgers should find a way of getting Iheanacho back into the team as they are better upfront with him and Jamie Vardy.
What are your thoughts on iheanacho?
