Paris Saint-Germain played their 10th French Ligue 1 game of the season as they welcomed Angers to the Parc Des Princes on Friday evening. The Parisians were looking to return to winning ways in the competition after a disappointing 2-0 loss to Rennes some days ago.
Paris Saint Germain dominated proceedings in the opening exchanges of the match as they created few goalscoring chances to take the lead. Angers surprisingly took the lead in the 36th minute of the game as Angelo Fulgini converted brilliantly from close range to make the scoreline 1-0 in favour of his side at halftime.
Paris Saint-Germain fought their way back into the match as they eventually got the equaliser in the 69th minute of the game through Danilo Pereira's brilliant header from Kylian Mbappe's cross. Kylian Mbappe stole the show in the 87th minute of the match as he converted brilliantly from the penalty spot to make the full-time scoreline 2-1 in favour of Paris Saint-Germain
Match Review: Paris Saint-Germain were up against a tough team in Angers as they fought really hard before getting an important victory. Angers were well structured in their defence absorbing the pressure from PSG who couldn't penetrate easily into their opponent's 18-yard area. Experience and quality came into play for PSG in today's match as they won Angers narrowly at their home turf.
