Napoli Football Club were active in the Italian Serie A today as they travelled to face AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome in what looked to be a blockbuster fixture in the competition. The match was quite intense as both sides refused to concede a goal in the whole 90 minutes of football action as they settled for a disappointing goalless draw at full-time. AS Roma and Napoli had a few great chances in the match both none could be converted by them as they failed to secure all three points from a crunch encounter today.
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen was active for Napoli today but couldn't score a goal in the match as his performance wasn't that convincing against Jose Mourinho's men. The 22-year-old registered 4 shots in the match with one strike hitting the woodwork against AS Roma. Most of Napoli's victories in the Serie A this season have been determined by Victor Osimhen's brilliance. The Italian side looks to be depending primarily on the efforts of their main striker in Victor Osimhen. This overdependence on the 22-year-old could affect their performance in the Serie A this season. Another player in the team needs to step up in the match for Napoli whenever Victor Osimhen fails to deliver. This will really help them in building a balanced team where no player's absence can affect their performance. Overdependence on Victor Osimhen isn't the way forward and the Napoil's coach should have this in mind.
