The crisis currently rocking governing board of Laliga giant club may possibly lead to the exit of famous Argentine player from the team.
The well-known Catalan boss Laporta is of the opinion that those in charge of managing the affair may push out the player from the team.
The chances of player extending his stay at Camp Nou look blur due the current board uprising.
Also, the Argentine forward isn't in good term with club manager Josep Maria Bartomeu, as the player contract with the team extends till 2021.
However, the manager also recently affirmed the player is likely to leave the team and end his career elsewhere, but Laporta isn't sure yet.
Laporta reiterated that he advised the player to wait till 2021 at an event in Sant Joan de Deu hospital on Wednesday, but it seems this is unrealistic enough.
The former Barcelona president has also sent a strong message to ex-player of the club Xavi to desist from his decision to return the club to take up coaching job due to the current condition.
Bartomeu made a disclosure that Xavi will return to the club sooner or later to coach the team, as he has been initially advised to come but he refuses. As result moral boost and support he is now set to accept the coaching job offer.
Laporta further maintained, " if I were Xavi I will not return to the club".
He further stressed that he will like to see the club back on track, as he prefers Pep Guardiola to return to the club to oversee the affair of the club.
The former president of the club Laporta is on consultations with people on his ambition to return to his previous post 2021, as that will make him elated and to reposition the club.
More so, the fans are also clamouring to have the former manager Pep Guardiola back in the club.
Barcelona is the second position of the Laliga table with Real Madrid set to cling to the title if the defeat Villarreal on Thursday.
Let us keep our fingers crossed as the whole process unfold.
