The international break has commenced and all players who were called up to their respective national teams have started making their way to answer the call of their nation.
England manager Gareth Southgate is probably one of the most pressured international managers around due to having a high number of talented players he has at his disposal. Whoever Gareth Southgate selects for his team, there is surely a case for another player who has been left out.
1. TREVOR CHALOBAH: The Chelsea academy graduate deserved the chance to be selected by Gareth Southgate for the England squad after a great season from him so far. The young defender was almost certain to be leaving the club on loan during the recently concluded summer transfer window but he delivered consistent performances during pre-season games to change Thomas Tuchel's mind.
Trevor Chalobah carried his excellent pre-season form into the Premier League season and has now made it almost impossible for his manager Thomas Tuchel to overlook him for regular game time. Trevor Chalobah had been in better form this season than most centre-backs selected by Gareth Southgate and could feel unlucky at missing out on the squad.
2. RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK: The midfielder has also been one of Chelsea's best performers this season and could feel unlucky at missing out on a call-up to Gareth Southgate's squad. Ruben Loftus-Cheek was also earmarked for a loan move during the summer but has changed Thomas Tuchel's mind with assured and strong performances every time he has been called upon.
He has also been getting regular game time in Thomas Tuchel's starting line-up this season and he didn't disappoint.
The aforementioned players are in excellent form and could feel unlucky at missing out on the England squad.
