No doubts, Chelsea football club were one of the busiest clubs during the summer transfer window.
The West London club want to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title this season and spent over £230milion on several new signings including Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
Meanwhile, the arrival of new players to the squad did bring added competition for places, thereby limiting the playing time of some members of the squad.
One of them is veteran forward Olivier Giroud. The 34-year-old France International, who joined Chelsea from Arsenal in January 2018 has found game time difficult to come by this season following the arrival of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
The striker has made just one start under manager Frank Lampard this season and he is reportedly considering a move away from Stamford Bridge in order to play regular first team football.
Olivier Giroud requires more regular playing time in order to force his way into Didier Deschamps' squad for the rescheduled European championship next summer and could be interested in leaving Chelsea.
And according to reports from Mirror via Daily Mail, MLS club Inter Miami are considering a move for him when the transfer window opens in January.
The American side have struggled in their first season in the Major Super League and are looking to bring in new players to bolster their squad for the next season.
Inter Miami believe that Olivier Giroud will form a formidable partnership with veteran striker Gonzalo Higuain and are keen on prising him away from Stamford Bridge.
That said, the veteran forward has endured a frustrating start to the seasom. He has scored one goal in six appearances for the West London club so far.
