At the start of the 2020/2021 season, many expected Manchester United to start the season the same way they ended the previous season, but with Paul Pogba just coming out of covid-19 after testing positive, and so many first team players missing the the short pre-season, fans of Manchester United expressed their doubt before their first match of the season.
Crystal Palace was the first team to face the ever rising Manchester United at Old Trafford, but it was Crystal Palace who came out victorious, beating Manchester United in their own soil, 3-1. Manchester United would eventually struggle for a couple of matches before eventually finding their feet again.
Now, Manchester United are second on the table and would be facing this same Crystal Palace in their next match without Zaha (who single handedly destroyed Manchester United in their last fixture). The memory of their previous defeat to Crystal Palace still lingers and the desire to catch up with Manchester City who seems to be running away with the title, is a motivating factor to beat Crystal Palace. I expect Manchester United to carry the day, What do you think?
